PROJECT 1 - TWO STOREY EXTENSIONS

To remodel the existing dwelling both internally and external. The 1970s church conversion was dated and disfunctional. The client's loved the location and the surroundings but struggled to love the external appearance of the dwelling. Working through design options the clients proceeded with a 'floating' extension all calculated by Engineering & Building Design. as well as glazed gables on the front and the side elevation. What a fantastic job!

PROJECT 2 - TWO STOREY EXTENSION

A rear two storey and single storey extension across the whole rear of the property. Incorporating an open plan kitchen, family room and dining area, with linking internal pocket doors from the kitchen to living area. On the first floor a master bedroom with a stunning full height vaulted ceiling and glazed gable and en-suite accessed from the reconfigured landing.
The design required some serious structural steelwork to be calculated to support the required design, which we were able to complete in-house and luckily with a good builder on-site all the building work went smoothly.

PROJECT 3 - TWO STOREY SIDE EXTENSION

A first floor side extension and rear single storey extension across the whole back of the property. An extensive amount of steelwork was needed to implement this design to support the existing and proposed structure above. But that resulted in a super big kitchen, dining and family social space on the ground floor at the rear of the property. Taking space from the existing garage, gave the design a w.c. utility and side access to the outside.
On the first floor accessed from the existing staircase two new bedrooms were built and to the existing front master bedroom we added an en-suite bathroom.
The end result has given our client an amazing four bedroom dwelling, with great flow and facilities. Looking at the front elevation now it has been completed, you would never know it has been extended. Great result!!
PROJECT 4 - TWO STOREY EXTENSION

The existing dwelling has a small kitchen not fit for modern day family living (something we see a lot). With this approved extension we designed a superb ground floor living space. Accessed off the existing hallway you walk into a large kitchen space with island, leading through to the dining space and rear family room with roof lights above for additional light. There will be a separate utility with outdoor access and separate shower room attached.
On the first floor we enlarged the landing area by removing the separate w.c. This will give access into two new bedrooms in the proposed first floor extension with an en suite to the master bedroom.
You'll have to wait to see the photographs as our clients have started a family, with their little girl 'Violet' entering the world.
But we can't wait to see this one built.

PROJECT 5 - TWO STOREY EXTENSION

Utilising the vast space over the existing garage, kitchen and hallway, this first floor side extension fits in easily. A simple alteration to the existing bedroom, incorporating a small study gave access to the new master bedroom. A Juliet balcony over looking the rear garden brings in light to the bedroom. Everybody's dream walk-in dressing room is access off the bedroom and a door then leads into a fantastic en-suite incorporating a walk-in shower and separate standing bath. Just perfect!!
