Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire.

Currently the site is a disregarded car park, so when completed will make a lovely housing development tidying up the street. Comprising of 5 dwellings, two semi-detached houses and one detached house. The foundations for the buildings have been installed, securing the Planning Approval. But building work has temporarily paused, so we will have to wait to see the end result.

Utilising a disused car park, we designed two opposite handed buildings comprising of three low-cost family homes in each block. Using a fairly standard layout, we provided a lounge to the front, kitchen dining and w.c. to the rear and three bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor. All with a reasonable garden amenity space and car parking at the rear of the properties.

Our local camping site was growing. We had been slowly getting planning approvals developing the site over many years. Obtaining permissions for toilet block facilities around the site, increasing the camping areas, tee-pees, adding and increasing the caravan area's and enlarging the sites office facilities. All that the site needed now was a Leisure Facilities Building, in other words "A Bar" and "Food take-out".

A simple little job, but nevertheless it still turned out fabulous. By removing the pitched roof over the entrance porch, allowed us to provide a balcony area instead. Accessed from the first floor landing area via french doors, the balcony makes the best of the properties location. Overlooking a small natural lake with tree lined countryside as a backdrop, our client will enjoy reading a book out here in the summer months.
