The client really disliked the appearance of their property and wanted to bring it forward into the 21st Century. And so we went full-on with our design and the client not only loved the design but built it. With a high standard of finish as well, this has turned out Amazing!!
PROJECT 2 - NEW DWELLING

The client brought this site with outline Planning Approval, thinking it was going to be an easy process there onwards. But to cut a long story short it wasn't. 14 months after our initial survey, we finally managed to obtain Full Planning Approval for this three bedroom detached dormer bungalow. We then completed the construction drawings and calculations, submitted the Building Control application, enabling our client to commence with construction.
All turned out well in the end!!

PROJECT 3 - REPLACEMENT DWELLING

Inherited the original property from his parents, our client loved the location and wanted to replace the property with a forever-home to raise his own family. With stunning countryside views to the rear, our design ensured our client could enjoy the view at all times of the year. Bi-fold doors to the lounge, french doors from the kitchen and two glazed gabled Juliet balconies from each of the rear facing bedrooms.
This one definitely turned out to be a lovely home to enjoy for years to come.
PROJECT 4 - REPLACEMENT DWELLING

When our client purchased the site, he asked us to design a replacement home in the style of an Edwardian farm house cottage. But it soon became apparent that this wouldn't work with the rest of his requirements and the site. So along with the first scheme design drafts, this design was also added into the mix - which the client instantly loved!!
The core design was based on an old brick & steel barn with a modern twist. Heaps of glass to enjoy the countryside views supported by an exposed galvanised steel structure. Reclaimed bricks, cleaned up and re-used from the original cottages with a little vertical timber cladding to soften the elevations. All topped-off with standing seam zinc roof.
A unique property in which our client perfectly transformed our design into reality. It looks stunning now it's built, we loved working on this from start to finish. So, Thank you to our client for giving us the opportunity to design, develop and work on this fantastic project!!
PROJECT 5 - NEW DWELLING

A slow burner this one. Originally our client asked us to design this property back in 2011. But it got refused, as Planning Policy at that time stated "The application site does not constitute as previously developed land". Mind-full of this site, as soon as the Planning Policy changed we contacted our client, saying there might be a chance of resubmitting. We got it approved in 2018 and it fits into the street scene perfectly.
Garden land taken from both neighbouring properties. This house has open plan social space to the rear, consisting of a living room, dining/breakfast area and kitchen. The front room could be used as formal dining room or a cosy sitting room. With three bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor, this will make a wonderful family home.
